If you have ran Ubuntu and ever had to issues root level commands in the terminal i'm sure you'll be aware of the use of sudo. How many times have you forgotten to type sudo before it? (i.e. apt-get update) Well if you use !! it repeats the last command, so you would be able to type sudo !!
