Who I Am

Good question, firstly I'm a father. Secondly I'm what the day asks of me

I have a name and a handle, i'll take it for read you already know my handle. My name is Arron M Finnon, I live in Dundee, Scotland

I podcast for an awesome orginasation called HackerPublicRadio.Org, and I used to run a pretty large Linux Users group, which i co-founded.

Podcasting And Talks

I am a monthly correspondent for HackerPublicRadio.Org (HPR) where I produce a monthly podcast. The series was called Finux's Student Hackers Guide to Linux. I've been very lucky in my podcasting and got to interview some truly fantastic people from the world of computer security. Now my shows don't have a name, its just Finux. Where ever possible I also try and record either talks that I am doing or talks from other speakers at my local Linux Users Group, and release them on HPR as well.

Up till recently I did a number of public talks on hacking, and Linux either through or connected to my involvement in my Local Linux User Groups. If your local and you'd like me to speak at your user group, then drop me a line. I'm always happy where possible to facilitate. I'm also available for weddings, christenings and barmitzfa's.

The Family

I have two beautiful daughters. Maia is my eldest daughter and Ava the newest arrival.

In a change of paths i moved into computer related fields, which in doing so lead me to go to university to study ethical hacking and countermeasures.

I live with my family in Dundee.
